SEA
"SEA," short for Southeast Asia, evokes dreams of travel and the unknown, inspired by the French saying "prendre la Mer"—to embark on a great journey. Having grown up in Brittany on France’s west coast, sailing and living by the sea, the title resonates deeply with me. Drawn by familial ties to the region, I began exploring SEA in 2009, later moving there from London in 2013. I captured the roughness of this land —mirroring my own struggles and dysfunction, which later led to insomnia. This series reflects my search for self through photography, ending with a waterlily about to bloom, marking the beginning of something new, an awakening. Continue to the next series of pictures.
